I have been a member of the Durban Undersea Club for the past 25 years.
Having served the Club in the capacity of Vice Chairman for 12 years from 2006 to June 2018, I have been fortunate to see the Club grow from humble beginnings, to now having a membership approaching 3500 and a very sound balance sheet.
I also served as a Director on the inaugral Board of the Point Watersports Club from inception until 2018.
I am a qualified scuba diver ( NAAUI – Rescue) although not very active, and currently engage in long board surfing, deepsea fishing, freediving and golf.
My entire working career has been in the construction and allied industry, culminating in being a co-owner of Wardkiss Paint & Hardware for 19 years until retiring in 2016.
A new era in our beautiful new shared facility at PWC has challenges that will keep all of us busy into the foreseeable future.
