About Me
I have been serving on the DUC Committee as the Freediving portfolio officer for since May 2023. I also serve as Secretary for AIDA SA, who were granted observer status in March 2024 with AIDA International (International Association for the Development of Apnea). AIDA has grown to an international federation and is the single largest organizer of international freediving competitions, rules and regulations.
With a foundation as a personal assistant, I quickly climbed the administrative ranks in each position I've held. Ending up as the general manager in the hospitality industry, only to resign after 6 years to pursue a professional career as a freediving instructor. Naturally being drawn to the ocean, this was an obvious progression for me. I also have a history as a lifeguard in my younger years and used to scuba dive before I discovered freediving.
