[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dear DUC and DSBC Members
February is traditionally the quietest month at the club due to the school and varsity first semesters starting in earnest, financial year ends looming and credit card hangovers from the holidays starting to bite. If you have been avoiding the club due to the holiday season crowds, you may find a bit more space and shorter queues at the club this coming month.
With the hot weather and members making more use of the lawn area, for the month of February, there will be live music or a DJ (weather permitting) on Friday afternoons from 4pm to 8pm which includes Happy Hour, Saturday afternoons Sunset Sessions from 3pm to 7pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
This Friday we welcome back Lance Goldman with his Eric Clapton and other popular music artist classics.
Durban Ski Boat Club Festival
The DSBC Festival will be held over the long weekend of the 24th to 27th April. The dates for this year’s event are proving to be popular with the angling community as they fall outside school holidays and the Easter long weekend which are traditionally “family time “holidays.
This year entries are pouring in, as fishermen from around the country, consider first spending quality non-fishing time with the family over the school holidays and Easter and then spoiling themselves over the long weekend at the fishing comp with their mates (and family!) enjoying the DSBC hospitality, festivities and, of course, spending time on the water in search of the elusive fish that will bag them a prize.

The cost will be R150.00 per person and will be held at DUC on Friday, 21st February. Booking enquiries to: DAVID@HSDUR.CO.ZA
