PWC Clubhouse Update 1/03/2022

Dear DUC and DSBC Members

Shunmugam “Sagie” Moodliar started working at the Durban Ski Boat Club in 2000 and has given 22 years loyal service to the club. Sagie is known as the “traditional gentleman “type bar tender that used to be very common in Durban and his retirement at the end of February is not only a sad loss for the club but also the mark of a passing and almost bygone era.

A farewell function for Sagie will be held at the club on Sunday 6th March from 12pm to 3pm for those that would like to connect with Sagie and maybe bribe him not to reveal in his memoirs the many member secrets and scandals he overhead at the old DSBC bar!

As a token of appreciation for Sagie’s long and loyal service to the club, the members have started a collection for Sagie.
